Since its inception in 2011, Adelaide Wedding Dance Studio has been committed to delivering unforgettable wedding dance lessons for couples across Adelaide and beyond. Guided by visionary directors Oscar Castellanos and Getty Le, this award-winning team has empowered couples to create wedding dances that are elegant, natural and breath-taking.
As a proud two-time ABIA award winner for Best Wedding Vendor, the studio specialises in customised wedding dance lessons designed to meet each couple’s unique needs. Their approach ensures that everyone, from complete beginners to seasoned dancers, feels confident and well-prepared for their first dance.

Studio Director | Lead Choreographer
As the studio director and lead choreographer at Adelaide Wedding Dance Studio, Getty Le combines her passion for dance with extensive knowledge of styles like salsa, bachata, and waltz. Since beginning her wedding dance journey in 2009, she has developed a teaching philosophy that understands the challenges faced by beginners.
Getty’s gentle and instructive approach empowers couples to find their rhythm and build confidence for their wedding day. She focuses on equipping students with essential dance skills—patterns, footwork, musicality, and body movements—enabling them to master their craft and express themselves on the dance floor.
“Getty was simply the most wonderful, brilliant, and patient instructor. My fiancée and I were very nervous coming in to the experience, but Getty made sure that we were comfortable, had a complete and well thought through process for us to follow, and kept us laughing and looking forward to coming to each sessions of the 7 months of lessons we had. She was also so accommodating of my father in law in making sure that the father-daughter dance was such a beautiful moment to behold.”
Oscar Castellanos
Director | DanceSport Australia Coach
Oscar Castellanos is a director of Adelaide Wedding Dance and an accredited DanceSport Australia coach with over a decade of experience. His journey in dance began with a commitment to mastering more than 16 styles, including social Latin and ballroom, which allows him to create engaging and diverse routines for his students.
Oscar’s passion for dance is matched by his dedication to teaching, and his impressive collection of awards reflects his expertise and influence in the dance community. He has learned from renowned figures like Eddie Torres, Fernando Sosa, and Carlos Aragon Del Carpio, continually updating his skills to ensure his students receive the most current and relevant instruction.
Recently, Oscar has embraced the modern sensual style of Bachata, inspired by his experiences in Argentina. His energetic teaching style and wealth of knowledge empower couples to shine on the dance floor, making their wedding dance an unforgettable highlight of their special day.
“We had Oscar as our main dance instructor throughout. The first few lessons were definitely daunting as it felt like we both had two left feet but we were determined to master the dance moves. We ensured we were allowing time every night to do at least 5 practice runs, which we found were really helpful in remembering the steps as well perfecting the moves. Repetition definitely helped! Oscar was so patient with us as we fumbled through our dance lessons but most importantly he always ensured we’re learning from our mistakes.”
